Genealogy Gems Podcast Episode 250
with Lisa Louise Cooke
February 2021
This episode is brought to you by MyHeritage.
From Lisa: “I use MyHeritage for my own genealogy
research. It makes all the difference!”
In this episode:
Who doesn’t love a good genealogical surprise? Sometimes we discover something we overlooked the first time around. Other times we find gems in places we never expected. Google Books is one of those places full of unexpected surprises.
Google Books is a free online catalog of over 25 million books, 10 million of which are digitized and searchable. The collection is international in scope. I'll explain how to search it and what to look for. And then at the end of the episode, I'll share a very surprising turn that my own research took recently!
